About me

I'm Tom, a dedicated fitness coach with over 21 years of military leadership experience, now focused on helping individuals transform their lives.

My personal fitness journey began with a pivotal moment of self-reflection, leading me down a path of health and fitness that includes completing Ironman Triathlons, Ultramarathons, CrossFit, Hyrox, and even stepping onto the bodybuilding stage at my leanest.

After leaving the Army, I transitioned into full-time coaching with a clear mission: to work directly with individuals eager to make a change, rather than with impersonal policy documents. My goal is to assist busy professionals in reclaiming their health, reducing body fat, and enhancing their confidence. My approach is personalised, empathetic, and built on accountability, designed to integrate seamlessly into your lifestyle without overwhelming it.

    Tom leads the team, and provides 1:1 coaching services to all athletes within Team TC.

    From Ironman and Ultra Running to Hyrox, CrossFit and Bodybuilding, Tom is a coach who in his 40s, is still walking the walk, and is able to apply an empathetic and experiences touch to all personal programmes and accountability frameworks.

    Empathetic, accessible and personable, he will use his over 20 years of military leadership experience to get the very best from you!

    Adam is our Nutrition Consultant, passionate about making elite-level nutrition accessible to all.

    With a Level 4 qualification in Nutrition Coaching and comprehensive training from the BTN Academy, Adam tailors evidence-based nutrition strategies to support high-performing athletes, sports teams, and tactical professionals.

    Grounded in practical science, he prioritizes educating clients about nutrition in a way that’s understandable and sustainable, avoiding unnecessary restrictions.

    Gaz brings over a decade of expertise from the British Army and a background in elite sports to his role as a senior Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor.

    With accolades including a Guinness World Record, experience as a GB triathlete, a Hyrox world championship qualifier, and multiple Ironman wins, Gaz’s achievements speak to his deep commitment to athlete development.

    At Plug-In Rehab, he leads the exercise rehabilitation function, focusing on injury prevention and ensuring clients stay on track to achieve their goals, no matter the challenges.
