About me

I'm Tom, a fitness coach with over 21 years of military leadership experience and a passion for helping people transform their lives. My fitness journey started when I looked in the mirror and knew something had to change.

Since then, I've immersed myself in health and fitness, completing Ironman Triathlons, Ultramarathons, CrossFit, Hyrox, and even competing in bodybuildingβ€”stepping on stage at my leanest.

After leaving the Army, I transitioned into full-time coaching because I wanted to work directly with people, not policy documents. Now, I specialise in helping busy men reclaim their health, lose body fat, and build confidence. My approach is personalised, empathetic, and focused on accountabilityβ€”designed to fit seamlessly around your life, not take it over.

what is TC coaching?

I offer a fully online coaching serviceβ€”no living room workouts required! You’ll receive a tailored workout programme designed around your goals.

My team also includes a nutritionist who creates a bespoke nutrition strategy for you, complete with ongoing education via live calls and bite-sized trainings… excuse the pun!

For injury concerns, my clinical injury management team provides 1-2-1 consultations to keep you moving, no matter what.

Everything is wrapped in a supportive accountability framework, with daily and weekly touchpoints to keep you on track, whether your goals are fat loss, muscle gain, or performance… We've got you covered!

One of our key tenants is awareness and as a TC Coached Athlete, not only will your receive bespoke nutrition support, but you will also learn a great deal on nutrition and how to implement that in your own life.

However, to get you started, we need to recognise that to LOSE WEIGHT, the energy you consume, measured in calories, must be lower than the energy you expend.

This is known as being in a Calorie Deficit.

    Tom leads the team, and provides 1:1 coaching services to all athletes within Team TC.

    From Ironman and Ultra Running to Hyrox, CrossFit and Bodybuilding, Tom is a coach who in his 40s, is still walking the walk, and is able to apply an empathetic and experiences touch to all personal programmes and accountability frameworks.

    Empathetic, accessible and personable, he will use his over 20 years of military leadership experience to get the very best from you!

    Adam is our Nutrition Consultant, passionate about making elite-level nutrition accessible to all.

    With a Level 4 qualification in Nutrition Coaching and comprehensive training from the BTN Academy, Adam tailors evidence-based nutrition strategies to support high-performing athletes, sports teams, and tactical professionals.

    Grounded in practical science, he prioritizes educating clients about nutrition in a way that’s understandable and sustainable, avoiding unnecessary restrictions.

    Gaz brings over a decade of expertise from the British Army and a background in elite sports to his role as a senior Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor.

    With accolades including a Guinness World Record, experience as a GB triathlete, a Hyrox world championship qualifier, and multiple Ironman wins, Gaz’s achievements speak to his deep commitment to athlete development.

    At Plug-In Rehab, he leads the exercise rehabilitation function, focusing on injury prevention and ensuring clients stay on track to achieve their goals, no matter the challenges.
